H.M.S. Vindictive
HMS Vindictive- Light Cruiser.
The last ship to bear the VINDICTIVE name was originally commissioned as the HMS CAVENDISH and renamed in honour of the World War I vessel. She was 565 feet long and 65 feet at her beam. This last vessel originally started off as an aircraft carrier then went through a number of refits. Her last incarnation was as a cadet training ship until she was broken up in 1946.
